    You get a few points for inking at least 420p worth of of ground (which pretty much everyone who played should get), but the rest is totally up to whether you win or not. So yes, you can become King/Queen just playing a lot, but you'll get there more than twice as fast by winning. (It's +3 for wins, +2 for getting at least 420p, +5 for both total.)
