  • Where did you hear that? That makes no sense they both look totally different.

  • It's canon, Nintendo of America announced it themselves. I don't see an issue with it being the same Link, it's not out of the question that Link's appearance would be adjusted to a new style. The statue of the hero in WW was in "toon style" despite it almost certainly being of the Hero of Time. What DOESN'T make as much sense is a cheery game in the middle of the downfall timeline.

  • Overall I have no real problems with the Zelda timeline, most things that seem odd have plausible explanations.

  • If it's a different art style then why are some of the NPCs reused? Why did his hair color change? How come he only wore the tunic(s) in ALBW but suddenly comes to a new place wearing a bear shirt? I mean I shouldn't argue if Nintendo said it, but it doesn't make sense to me...

  • It is written that the Hero in Green is the true hero, arriving in Hytopia in disguise. Not sure where he got the Bear Minimum, but another legend of multi-colored heroes joining forces might have inspired their Toon-like faces. He hides his true face as well.

  • I seem to recall the hair color thing only applies when playing through the levels, before you go into the multiplayer or dopple single player he has brown hair like in ALBW. Furthermore, NoA also explained why he's not in a tunic, that he's trying to hide his heroic orgins for some reason. This also explains why he's willing to wear ridiculous outfits.

  • He has blond hair in tri force heroes but yeah

    Yeahs0
  • Yeah, when you're not online you have blond hair and if you're wearing the tunic (you get it at the beginning of the game because the Bear Minimum is considered unfashionable, in case you didn't know) which looks just like the one in Wind Waker, so with the blond hair and toon face he looks exactly like Toon Link from WW.
