    Good to know! I'm actually really glad I'm taking on leveling up Nino! Although I used the Mine Glitch to strip most of the enemies of their weapons, I feel glad about this leveling up! By the way, one quick question, can Assassins use lockpicks and steal like thieves or do theives lose those abilities when they promote?

    I really like using Nino, too. She's a great character. Assassins lose the abilities to steal when they promote, but they can use lockpicks. Honestly, I only use stealing to get extra promotion items and by the time you can promite thieves, most of your units are promoted, so losing the ability to steal isn't a big deal.

    Ok thanks! I was contemplating to promote Legault to Assassin as I saw the Fell Contract Sonia has. I'm about done promoting actually. Just need to promot Nino and Legault. I may keep Legault as thief and use Jaffar as the assassin for Nino supports... Or I could forget using Jaffar and use Canas for Nino's supports.

    Both are good. Jaffar has the advantage of having a paired ending with Nino (I still love Canas). I'd say promote Legault. Assassins are great, honestly. However, in chapter 27, there is a guiding ring that you need to steal to obtain so you might want to wait for that.

    Ok. I already have all my magic users (barring Nino but I have a Guiding Ring with Merlinus) promoted already. I'm guessing there won't be anything super note worthy that I should keep Legault as a Thief for. By the way, this is my first playthrough so I have a feeling if there's a hard mode then I'll probably get destroyed. Just hopefully be fun still (unlike Lunatic mode).

    Go for it. I'm playing hard mode right mode on Eliwood's mode. It's not nearly as hard as lunatic mode.
