Ｊ３のＵ２２選抜は廃止へ…若手強化策、別の案検討
Ｊリーグの若手強化策としてＪ３に参戦している「Ｕ－２２（２２歳以下）選抜」が廃止となることが６日、分かった。来季はＪ１、Ｊ２クラブの２軍に当たるセカンドチームのＪ３参加や、Ｊ１クラブの控え選手による定期的な強化試合の実施が検討されている。 東京都内で行われたＪリーグ強化担当者会議に出席した日本サッカー協会の霜田正浩強化担当技術委員長は「（選抜の）役目は終わり次のステップにいった方がいいという話をした」と述べた。 Ｕ－２２選抜はＪ１とＪ２で出場機会の少ない若手に公式戦を経験させる目的でつくられたが、試合ごとにメンバーが変わり、練習時間も限られるなどの問題点が指摘されてきた。Ｊ３が発足した昨季は９勝６分け１８敗で１０位、今季はここまで７勝６分け２１敗で１２位。
