    Some amiibo don't have aren't compatible with yoshi's wooly world, check the amiibo Nintendo website for more information

    If it's a Yoshi amiibo, you scan it a level when playing Solo. If it's any other amiibo, you scan it in the amiibo Hut. Note that any amiibo that doesn't have an outfit (Animal Crossing cards, Pokémon, select other newer figures) unlocks amiibo Yoshi (Yarn Yoshi with an amiibo shirt), and can only be unlocked once. Other variation amiibo (Mario/Silver Mario/30th) can also only be unlocked once.

    Try registering the amiibo in System Settings, and giving it an owner and nickname. Which amiibo are you using, exactly?

    we all know that of course mega yarn yoshi is compatible but pokemon dont work its just amiibo yoshi
