    I mean even though the yarn yoshi amibo comes in pink, blue, and green, can you give it a pattern you get in the game?

    Actually, you can. First go to the Yoshi Hut and select a Yoshi. Click the Amiibo button, and it will ask you if you want to change the color. You can if you want. Then, press the amiibo to the gamepad to save. When you play a level with them, it will look like the previous pattern. But, once you've completed the level, it will ask you to put the amiibo to the gamepad. Do this, then it will work.
