Thanks V. I was thinking yesterday about those monks that sweep in front of them to avoid steping on bugs. I wonder do those monks worry about stepping on grass too. Plants are alive too. Speaking of which do plants have souls? I feel like if you believe people have a soul than why shouldn't the humble blade of grass have one also. I don't know just random thoughts.

Hmm, if I remember correctly, there are a few Sanskrit texts from ancient China that mentions plant life itself is a manifestation of life as well. It says stuff like since plant life can wither and grow, it must be alive, thus must embody a soul to maintain itself. Personally, I don't see plants having souls, but it is an interesting topic.
