Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival

OK! I opened up a new mini game, only to discover I cannot play it... I only have 3 amiibo cards and the game requires 6... REQUIRES me to go out and attempt to find (and purchase) a pack of amiibo cards so I can play a game which I ALREADY OWN!! Not cool Nintendo! Not cool at all...

  • This game just seems to be made to suck money out of fans' wallets. Hopefully I'm wrong, but Nintendo does have to make up for their slim holiday line-up.

  • While i feel i'd actually enjoy this game more than a standard animal crossing (sounds weird i know but its true) I knew it'd be a good idea to wait to see how the game actually operates If i can find this cheaper in Canada one day i may get it for some family time. THx for the info meow ~

  • Mews... I don't dislike the overall game... sure, it's incredibly simple and shallow... but within its simplicity, it oozes charm!!! The main board game reminds me of "The Game of Life". Mindless but fun. Island Escape is a FANTASTIC sub game!!!... I only dislike that I paid a premium price for my game, $60, and content is STILL unnecessarily locked... forcing me to buy more cards to play...

  • You didnt pay premium price. It is $60 for the game, 2 amiibo figures and 3 amiibo cards

  • Andrew, I applaud your optimistic outlook... It's $60 for a game which in no way shape nor form NEEDS amiibo or cards to work! I am an avid amiibo collector (37 now), but the amiibo do nothing to enhance this game... I love the amiibo, but the way I see it, this game was $60... You cannot buy an unbundled version... so, yep for me its difficult to look past that!
