Eggman never seems to learn that everyone he works with always betrays him. Chaos, Shadow, Metal Sonic, the deadly Six. almost all of his plans revolve around him getting someone's help. wich ends badly for Eggman.

    at least he succeeded in blowing up half of the moon. and the only time he actually won, was finally taking over the world in Dark Brotherhood.

    Eggman really could rule the world by using un evil methods. He disigned several generations of robot armies, built a robot with cognitive thought and speach, knows how to use animals as batteries, and has a machine that can mechanize any being. He could make his way to political power and go from there.

    i haven't thought of all of that. i know Dark Brotherhood isn't cannon. i just said some examples of moments he succeeded. he split the planet apart, stole planets to make a theme park, used aliens to power a mind control ray, build robots that can think for themselves, etc. he still has a lot of cool things under his belt. that's kinda why he's one of my favorite villains.

    wich is why i love him so much now than before. as a kid playing SA2, i thought he was badass. he was actually threatening and legitimately evil. now that i'm older, i actually prefer the silly stuff for some reason. it's a scientist shaped like an egg, laughs like santa claus, and he's sporting the most awesome of mustaches...can't go wrong. i always find enjoyment there.

    and i have the most wierdest tastes. i love how out of place Bowser's voice in Sunshine was, Eggman's PA announcements in colors were funny, hearing Liquid say "BROTHER!" every 5 seconds always brings a smile to my face, hearing Dr. Nefarious scream "LAWREEEEEEENCE!" never gets old, etc.

    Robotnik IS his original name. they just have the characters and Eggman himself refer to him as Eggman now. honestly, Eggman sounds more memorable and better. Robotnik just doesn't roll off the tongue, nor is it recognizable in this day and age. also, it makes sense to call him Eggman due to all the things he has made that he calls egg. for example: the Death Egg, Egg Carrier, Egg Dragoon, etc.

    Next game, I want to see Eggman taken over by a much more threatening and serious villain, who treats him like dirty similar to the relationship between Uka Uka and Cortex from Crash Bandicoot.

    that does sound cool. but technically, in a way, Metal Sonic already did something similar in Heroes. everyone thought Eggman was the villan, but in reality, it was Metal Sonic who overpowered Eggman and took control of everything. he tricked everyone and copied everyones data. that was actually a nice plan. but something more like Uka Uka and Cortex would be cool.
