    If you're a Blacksmith, it can be used to craft the Star Smasher, which is the strongest Hammer around. Otherwise, it can sell for quite a bit of Dosh, if you need the money. And Pam might ask for some in exchange for Lunares Coins.

    Oh did you want a list of the other recipes it can be used in? Star Diamonds are needed to make the...; -Celestial Ring [Creator Alchemist] -Crusader's Circlet/Tiara [Creator Blacksmith] -Staff of Dawn [Creator Carpenter] There might be more, but that's all I know off the top of my head. ^^;
