    yes its harder than all past pokemon dungeon games. very annoying at times too. to me i feel like im too weak lvl wise as im doing the story. it takes forever to grow lvl in this game.

    This game is UNFAIRLY hard, compared to past installments. I consider myself a veteran of PMD, but this game has actually made me quit a few times in frustration...and I'm only now up to Chapter 7. Without a chance to properly prepare for dungeons that you're constantly forced into until you manage to beat them until you *finally* make your team, prepare to die. A lot. Time to grind...

    It's difficult, but nothing unmanageable without some strategy (especially in the inventory department...) I'm on chapter 13 I think and I haven't failed any missions yet, despite some close calls. You just have to use your items well and often and take advantage of some of the more OP teammates you get early on. The lack of time to level grind is a drag, though. :/

    I heard somewhere that Fennekin and Totodile were an easy team to play with, but I can't confirm since I have Fennekin/Piplup. Ranged attacks are super useful, though, so probably go for starters that learn those at an early level. Oh, and since they took genders out... the "in love" status condition is once again completely overpowered. And you get a TM for Attract early in the game, sooo.... ;D

    I dunno about that...I had started with Totodile personally, and it preformed so poorly early on that I restarted for a Pikachu, personally.
