  I can help with that. I played most of them. Whole point of the games is that your human that turn into a pokemon and you and your partener pokemon makes a team goes through dunguons to save the pokemon world. You have to figure out why you became a pokemon. Well in begining of the games they ask questions that decides what pokemon you will turn into out of choices in the game.

  You bascialy go through dungeons as human turned pokemon with your partner pokemon that become friends with in begining of the game. Every game has different story that you go through. Pokemon Super mystery dugeon is RPG game.
