Hmm..this pkmn game does look pretty interesting i'll admit. And it would be cool playing as the pokemons themselves for once, but i've never played any of the mystery dungeon pkmn games b4 so idk if i'll love it or not. Mostly stick to the main series with those versions but it would be nice to try something different with other pkmn games tho.

    The mystery dungeon games are amazing. To be honest, i love them more than the actual main pokemon games. The stories are always better than the main one. I personally like the gameplay better. Battles are a lot quicker in my opinion. Its just overall fun. I recommend you try playing the first games which were on the gba and ds.

    This is my 1st Mystery Dungeon game too i always wanted to try this series it looks fun and i got tired of the main pokemon games so maybe this may help me get back into the franchise again. Yeah as the guy above stated the battling is super quick lol M14

    @Judal eh i wouldn't wanna go that far back to try this particular series out lol. I can still enjoy it even this late in as M14 has done. It's just that since i've never played this particular pkmn series at all im a little skeptical but there's vids online i can watch to see if i'll be willing to get it someday or not. I still do love pkmn just not as much like i use to back in the day, nor am-

    -i that competitive in it much either. Usually once i've completed the main story i put the game down and very rarely picks it back up lol.

    Yea i know you can enjoy the sequels without playing the first. I only gave you a suggestion. They're all great, although i cant say for Gates to Infinity as ive yet to play it. The one with the most replay value would probably be Explorers of Sky, which is still on the DS lel. If you end up enjoying the story and gameplay then this will give you plenty of content.

    There are some key differences in the MD games like gummies can give the pokemon that eats them passives that help out themselves& the team. No pokemon type has full immunity to attacks. The pokemon on your team in lead spot must be the one to KO if you wanna recruit. Overall they are amazing games imo Explorers of Sky/Time/Darkness are the best entries based on content&options.

    It says on back of the box only local for multiplayer co-op sorry man. Most of the multiplayer stuff is rescuing other teams if they send out an SOS which I think you can do with wifi.

    Lemme tell you this the story in this game BEATS Gates To Infinity n Blue/Red Rescue Team although some side stories are childish BUT it does give good character development. So this is a mix of a character n a story driven game! There are a few annoying changes from previous installments n some changes i love!
