  • Despite what many think Rocks are actually very different from the Purples, for one, Purples could latch on to things while the rocks sorta just tackle it. Purples also have a groundpound ability, can stun opponents, and are very slow, however are as strong as 10 Pikmin. Rocks are different in a sense that...

  • Rocks are best when thrown, can break glass, can not be stabbed or even be squished. They run the same speed as the average pikmin but are not as strong as purples and do not stun foes. While Rocks and Purples may have a few similarities, they are both very different. In fact the only real comparison would be there convenience when trying to deal with enemies. In the end, Rock Pikmin are unique.

  • Besides, the only reason why Purples and Whites aren't in the story mode is because you would then have 7 Pikmin types...and because you can only have 100 total Pikmin on the feild, splitting that up between all 7 types would lead into having too less of one or two given type of pikmin. Unless they increase the number of Pikmin you can have at once...

  • 5 types of Pikmin per game is a decent amount. However, Even if they did increase this number of pikmin you can have on the feild, to me there would be way to many pikmin to manage and even if I could manage it you could potentially become very Over Powered with lets say 150-200 Reds or Purples. So in the end having only 5 types of Pikmin per game is the perfect amount. Sorry.
