I'm confused. How do I choose my character's gender? Also, how do I choose my partner's gender? Please help?

    It goes like this: If you choose "Cool!", you or your partner will be male. If you choose "Cute♪" you or your partner will be female.

    Your leader's gender is never determined. When you choose the partner's name, you get a choice between "cute (girl)" and "cool (boy)."

    it's probably written neutrally i don't remember a lot of points in the first mystery dungeon where it pointed out your character's gender either

    Some NPCs do refer to the partner as "he" or "she."
