    sorta. from your ds home screen (with no games paused) tap the little arrow on the bottom left. (with your game selected) you can save your data as a backup and reset your game. then you can play again. then if you want you can save a backup of that and restore the certainsave file you want from the settings. so you can but it's a process to switch saves.
