Question

So, I'm really on the fence about this game.

I'm definitely interested in it, but I've read it's apparently stupidly difficult even by PMD standards and has a rather lackluster story. Is it still worth looking into though if you enjoyed the other games in the series?

    Seemed simple enough to me and the difficulty just gradually gets worse with realistic battles. The dungeons weren't as involved with the story, which was mostly made up of cut scenes.

    They have added some new things to make it more difficult than pokemon mystery dungeon gates to infinity [ which by the way was rely easy ] so the diffuculy has gone up im like half way through and not even level 20 :@ but its not nearly as hard as pokemon red rescue team and personaly i dont think its to hard and the story is pretty intresting i recomend you pkay it :3

    I'm 40 hours into the game and currently in the post game and I haven't had a too difficult time. I think if you prepare enough before a hard dungeon and use the alliance feature then the game isn't too bad. Enemies in this game do take more hits and hit harder than past games, though. I do agree that the story is not great, but I enjoyed the game nevertheless.

    I really enjoyed the game story-wise, sure there's the amnesia cliche', but its still good(maybe its biased idk). The soundtrack is as good as EoS, dark matter phase 2 is my favorite so far. The alliance thing really helped with difficult things (so is having a lot of reviver seeds). The game is pretty great, i think.

    One of the biggest issues I've found during the story was that the story occasionally restricts you to dungeons (which isn't terribly bad). Basically you will have to reinvent you're strategy, and sometimes martyr yourself to get that precious experience.
