Does this game bring back the stuff that made the Explorers series so great? Cuz I was really dissappointed with Gates To Infinity.

    It's difficult to compare with Explorers, but it makes leaps and bounds from Infinity. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

    yes it does, pokemon super mystery dungeon brings back dungeons and music from the game and that's all I found so far

    I have played and completed all Mystery Dungeon games in the series (aside from GTI), and it's still hard to place one over another. The Explorers games were definitive titles that set high standards for the series, so I think PSMD understandably fell below Explorers by a small amount. However, it's still an amazing game, and if you're a fan of the series you will surely not be disappointed.

    No, it is definitely not watered down. Although the dialogue is a bit juvenile to appeal to younger audiences, it still has some important underlying messages, plot twists, and every other elements that makes a MD game good. It has every feature from Explorers + more in terms of mechanics.
