What would be really great is being able to link 3DSs to WiiUs and allow the 3DS to be used as an extra controller or the wiiu pad used as a 3ds for download play. making the hardware more versital.

    Well half of that is true. The 3DS can connect to the Wii U and function as a controller for Smash Bros. They just need to do it more often.
