    To get a screenshot, you must... For Home Menu: Hold y and any direction depending on which screen you would like to screenshot. For Games: You must have the software suspended, miiverse will give you an option to save a screenshot/post about the suspended software. Some games can take screenshots that will save to your Nintendo 3DS Camera. Not all games will be able to screenshot.

    im not 100% sure but i dont think it can. there are very few games that will let you save your screenshots to your gallery. but if you post them to miiverse you can always view them there
