    If I recall correctly from my large amounts of playtime through those two games over the years, I'm pretty sure that room is where you can participate in a challenge to get the Master Sword(L-3 Sword), but ONLY if you're playing a linked game file(transfered save from Ages to Seasons via password).

    So, if I'm to understand that you need to have this linked with Ages in order to use it? if so, then this is just a useless room since you can't link games in any VC games I've played. Waitaminit, if you give Farore just the secret from Ages and still get a the bonus stuff without a link!!!?!?

    The brilliant thing about this game is it's all done via passwords, so no linking is required. When you beat the game, they give you a code to input into the other game to start a new file with all that information on it. Farore will let you do codes between the two games so they can both get rewards. For example, do the master sword challenge and you'll get a code to get it in your other game.

    Oh, so you mean that you can use the code received from the VC version of Seasons into the original GameBoy Color version of Ages and the other way around?
