Hoopa can be quite the annoying troll when you first get him since he knows Ally Switch at the start, which can really screw you up, especially if Hoopa decides to wander off. It may be a good idea to visit Hawlucha's Slam School to have him remember some moves that can replace Ally Switch, like Astonish or Psybeam.
