    Notice the "Doesn't seem to want to evolve" rather than incapable. As a common supporting character, it would be weird talking to Meowstic with espurr's sprite and facial expressions wouldn't it?

    "#677 Espurr Connection through the story" xD But on Serebii Espurr is right there on the list of unevolvable Pokemon. If you saw something saying Mewostic being obtainable, It meant that there is a connection orb mission. They would be different Pokemon.

    I was gonna comment that. I completly derped and didn't read the unevolvable part. XD Still, I don't like how they block off so many pokemon. I mean a ton of them don't aren't in the story at all.

    Every Pokemon is in the game, so you'll more than likely get them regardless at one point or another.
