    It's time for me to mention that I'm not going to play the pre-Awakening games. I lack the skill to do it. Besides, to me Waifu Emblem is the best part, so I don't want a primitive support system.

    @Noah: If memory serves, you've already mentioned that. Personally, I think the "Waifu Mechanics" in Awakening and Fates are the second-worst part of both games (first being the terrible reclassing and skill system, good gosh what a wreck), but I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree. Hopefully you enjoy Fates more than I do, either way.

    @ Maddie I forgot that. Screw that, I'm not playing that permadeath stuff where I have to restart the entire chapter. If that means I don't get to experience the FE series' greatness, then so be it.

    @ JohnnyTLP Really? The mechanics aren't perfect; I'm annoyed you never get to pick dialogue choices in the supports. But combat gets boring and brainless after a time, the prospect of new support conversations kept me going.

    @Noah: Yeah, that was my point. Awakening shouldn't have had such deep gameplay issues that it had to fall back on it's supports (something that prior FE games NEVER had a problem with, I might add) to keep the game interesting, in my opinion. I'd rather not get into a "Retro FE vs Modern FE" conversation, though, I've had more than enough of those since Fates was announced to last a lifetime.
