    Oh! I was worried I'd be stuck playing as "Boy 3" or whatever. It's too bad you can't just import your character from New Leaf, though. Is there any customization for the villager besides just the name? Is the villager playable in the island escape mode?

    The Villager amiibo only unlock the statue, where you can change the names of them from Boy 1-Girl 4 to something else! The Villagers are playable in Balloon Island and the Card one!
