Why is my partner repeating the same move? (Ex: Piplup keeps on using Bubble)

    You can change up what move your partner uses, so you can set it's moves so it can use all it's moves, or it can only use one attack.

    I have this problem as well, you partner is more likely to use a ranged move like bubble as opposed to short range moves like tackle. You can change what moves your partner uses in a dungeon anytime in the pause screen by going to the moves icon.

    If you don't like it you deselect it after he uses it. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 1-0-1 duh.

    Thank you all for commenting, I knew the basic "toggle moves on and off", but even when I do, they continue to use said move until the PP runs out, or I disableit manually. :/
