    8/10. I guess the question is how much experience you have with PMD. PSMD is very nearly the game that Gates should have been, this coming from someone who actually liked Gates. As with all PMDs (excluding the Japan only Wiiware ones), there is a stronger emphasis on the narrative and dialogue than the main series. Which leads to the games feeling like they start slow to some newcomers.

    I know 8/10 doesn't sound high. But my scale isn't the school grade inspired only 7-10 exist scale. Currently PSMD is my #2 favorite game this year, though I have three games (1 PC, 2 WiiU) that may contend for #2 once I play them. 8.5 is usually enough for GotY. The last gen game that made me cry seven times was a 9. Last time I seriously had to consider giving a 10/10 was pre-merger Squaresoft.

    Haven't finished, but so far, an 8.5/10. If you already have other stellar games, this is a defenite yes. Gates to Infinity, on the other hand...
