I like this game but...

I miss the recruiting system from red & blue... I'm only level 18 and got a level 50 partner that just one shots everything... Everything else is fun though. imo.

    The high levels tend to become temporarily unusable for a few missions after use. There's also a Motivated Team mechanic later on to encourage you to use other Pokemon (in the form of a 3-6x EXP gain buff). And as usual for PMD, certain parts of the story will prevent you from bringing in your nonstory friends or doing other dungeons. So giving your starting pair levels and move exp may be wise.

    Ahh I see. That's good to prevent literal plowing through the game. But even still... the recruiting mechanic is meh...

    I'll admit, the recruitment system is not what I expected. I like it because it saves you the trouble of having to hunt down so many of the pokemon you want! All you gotta do is complete the pokemon's request and BAM, they join you!
