    Whew. Merlinus went down and Ninian was greatly injured, but it could have been much worse. Too bad Heath can't recruit Vaida.

    Did Ninian survive it? Also, on the Hector comment, one word. Magic. Unless Hector has weird high resistance he'll crumple at a few spells from strong promoted spellcasters.

    Yeah, good point there. I believe Ninian survived, but I think someone else died, that could have been her though. When I restore pointed back (I make it a point not to, but if I end up restarting several times, then I start simulating the map save points of later FE games) though, Ninian didn't get hurt at all and it went extremely well. Merlinus went down both times though...

    I recall who died the first time. Either Sain or Kent suffered a grave injury and I used the uninjured one to move the other one out of harm's way. I didn't pay attention though and Wil was left exposed on a Ballista, and got doubled twice. The rescue command usually doesn't work out for me...
