Lets just be honest. Dark Pit > Pit no matter how you look at it. You can look at all the teir lists, Dark Pit wins every time. I let my level 50 Dark Pit and level 50 Better Pit amiibos fight, and Better pit won! (My Pit amiibo is named Dark Pit). Just wanted to say that my Better Pit amiibo is at level 50!

I prefer Dark Pit over Pit because of attitude. Also, I think I found the difference between the two.

There is no difference. Both chars have the same frame data and combos. For example, they have different taunts, but their taunts have the same exact frame data. Watch RED's youtube video about that. That is why one isn't better than the other. P.S. Pit still places higher on tier lists and it's kinda weird.
