    The Golden Swordfish is one of the big fish that separates the Hero Anglers from the Legends, so it's not going to be easy to catch it. I'd recommend Crafting a Whirlpool Rod for the Sea fish damage + and adding the Subterranean Scales [Dropped by the Bluescale Lordfish; Also purchasable from the Angler's Association with Master Rank] as the Additional Ingredient.

    It'll give Sea Fish Damage +, and having the two extra boosts will make it easier to wear the fish down. And then wear the Hero Angler Gear for the Additional Focus and Intelligence boosts. Or if you have other Gear that can supply those Stats, those should work just as well.

    No problem! Good luck! Oh yeah, one last tip; Be sure to switch your Life over to Angler. You'll have to if you're gonna be wearing the Hero clothing, but still, just in case you're not xD; Having access to your fully charge Special Skill will help chunk its HP!
