(to all Linkle haters. please read) I can understand why you all hate her, thinking she will "destroy the zelda franchise“ Don't you guys think thats a little over exaggeration towards a character who will most likely be just a gender option for the player? If anything nintendo will apply the same idea that pokemon does with the protagonist, asking if you are a boy or a girl.

    I just don't understand why kids are hating her so much? While actually she's a really cool character, and can't wait to get to know a lot about her when the game releases.~

    I agree that a mere character can't possibly destroy a beautiful franchise like Zelda. But the thing with Pokémon is that it didn't keep a male character through 17+ games. And I think Pokémon's more about getting attached to the pokémons and the world, not the person you're playing as. In Zelda, getting attached to the world AND characters is often what happens. But can't say I "hate" Linkle tho.

    People say they hate her because the lack of character, even thogh they haven't seen any clips of personality. Plus, just because she is not completly creative, is no reason to hate her. I

    I just don't think that gender bender fan service is a good reason to make an unimaginative character. I'm not a fan of Link in a dress in Triforce Heroes either. I'd be perfectly fine with a female protagonist. Just not a poorly thought out, obviously gender bent, Link being passed off as an actual real female character. A little originality please, Nintendo.

    I can agree the official name is somewhat generic. but, thankfully it's a zelda game, you have the option of renaming your character. But thank you to everyone not getting upset on this post. :D

    Once again : Linkle IS NOT a female Link. She is a whole new character. The only issue I have with her is that her name is dumb, she should have a real name, a unique one. By the way, you can't rename characters in Hyrule Warrior, HW are no regular Zelda games.

    Hopefully, it never becomes canon. Then no one need renaming it just plain old Link to help promote even more "Link is not a boy" troll post fans. And Yoshi... Go see KKW's comment and answer those questions if it's not meant to serve as a gender bent Link. Next up Shario... Can't wait for swimsuit poster of her. lol!! Never happen cuz fan service people don't want an overweight plumber girl. Why?
