    Sorry for your loss. I have had a similar experience. I had a dog. Her name was Spirit. That dog and I, were the best of friends. We were each others childhoods. So, you could imagine my reaction to her having cancer. We didn't want her to suffer, so we did what had to be done. Before she went, she started to wag her tail. "Nothing dies from sickness. Things die when we forget them".
