This isn't consistent with the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon timeline. If you've played Explorers, you would know that it would be impossible for Grovyle, Celebi, and Dusknoir to live in the same time period as members of Wigglytuff's guild.

    Except we don't know how far in the future the dark future was. It could have been just a few years.

    Yes, but the people can still be there, because they would have always been there had the planet not been paralyzed. Or you can just say the game developers wanted to give them cameos.

    Which would still mean that they aren't the same characters from the present in Explorers. I like the cameos and playability, though.
