It's more or less my partner suddenly running off, fainting, and wasting my seeds. That, and the completely random enemy spawns and attacks.

Ah, a monster house? Yep, had to complete a mission clearing one. The first time I didn't make it through, but the next time I just brought a Pokémon that can attack a whole room.

I thought I just sucked at the game, but these difficulty spikes exist?! Wow, I guess too many people complained about past MD games being too easy. Seriously, these enemies clearly drink their buff potions. Now imagine how steep the difficulty spikes in the 7th gen would be like.
