    dude.. marcus is useless because he gets less level ups and by time he is max level he wont be good enough

    @Blaster- Marcus starts out with better stats than all the other beginning characters, along with an A in lances and swords and a B in axes, if I'm correct. That more than makes up for less levels, but I still think he's a bit overrated. :-/

    ^ "Less level ups" don't matter if he's killing most of everything in the game. His growth rates are the only problematic thing about him. And even so, they're good enough to let him defeat most enemies. And if he does manage to lose combat usage, he still has supportive usage by virtue of his class alone. And if you happen to be playing through quickly, he's a must-have on the team.

    Besides, Earlygame utility > Lategame utility. And the reason why is because the game does get generally easier over time.
