Can you mega evolve in this game? I see Mega Sceptile and Mega Charizard in the box art!

    Yes, but you need an Awakening emera and any kind of looplet.

    The Emeras for them are very rare, and you dont evolve for the entire story-portion of the game.

    Also, after a few floors your rage builds up and you lose control of your pokemon and it knocks out a few walls.

    So, to MegaEvolve I have to get this super rare item AND complete the game 100%? If I need to complete the game to do it then whats the point?

    You can find those stones before you complete the game, but the point is that you cant evolve yourself or your partner until the post-game, so if you wanna use Mega Swampert, you'll be waiting a while.
