I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but I'm going to ask it to be safe since the answer will decide whether or not I use Matthew. There is only one Fell Contract and Thieves can't use an Earth Seal, correct?

    Yes and No, kind-of. Thieves can't use Earth Seal and the only Fell Contract that you get through the story is in Chapter 26x. However, you can get more Fell contract through the secret shop in Chapter 29. The problem is that they cost 50,000 gold each.

    Hmm, I'd have to think about it then. I'm only certain about using Oswin, Legault, Karel, and Karla. I'm leaning heavily towards Raven as well, but that leaves two still. I've thought about using Lucius and Canas to have types of magic users, but with what you said, I could have three Assassins. Do you have any suggestions?

    Here's the problem with three assassins: It costs $50,000 gold, which is hard to get without the arena, especially if you recruit Farina. Raven's a good choice if you want. Lucius and/or Canas are good too.

    I think I'll go for the triple Assassins. I used the three Pegasus Knights in HNM, which makes Farina unnecessary now in HHM. I also recall using two types of magic users (Moulder promoted to Sage and Artur to Bishop) in Sacred Stones.

    if money is a problem, just abuse the arena. it's cheap, painstaking, and shameless, but at least you get to see things you normally wouldn't and pull off stupid stunts like

    Now that I think about it though, getting the second Fell Contract at Chapter 29 doesn't leave much game to level up the third Assassin with, so I think I'll go with Canas instead. I have yet to use a Dark Mage/Shaman, so now would be a good time to do so.

    It was pretty cool to see Sain and Kent get a bunch of crits while I was getting them to level 20 in EHM a while back though.

    Legault is amazing on HHM due to his great Con and Hard Mode bonuses. He has higher luck and skill than Matthew which will make him activate Silencer a lot as an Assassin.
