    I know that feel about coming up with character names. Either I 'get' the name as soon as I have their design or nothing ever seems to fit. I remember I had to design Alph's 13 brothers for a fic, and had no names for any of them. Didn't even try. Asked someone else for some random boy's names and I designed them based on the names I got. Best decision ever. So much easier. =u=

    @Tane Thanks a ton! I've been thinking about how Rosa was creates, and maybe by a possible mutation due to the blue, yellow, and flying onions trying to combine, causing weire effects and separating themselves? @Kasey XD

    @Silvesary- That sounds great! After all, no one really knows how the Onions fuse or create Pikmin, so it's easy to believe that something like that could happen. Maybe she was created just as they were about to split or something. The only good thing about how little info there is about Pikmin/Hocotatians/Koppaites is that we have the freedom to make stuff up! Makes fic writing a lot of fun.

    I've only ever found one really good Pikmin fic, but it was so long ago I can't remember that it was called. I haven't bothered looking in ages; I just keep to mine or my friends' fic. I'd post mine online, but I'd rather let only a few people I know see it because I'm not very confident in my writing, and I don't know any website that does that. :| Plus I'd get yelled at for making it so sad,lol

    @Tane So far, my favorite fics are both sad, cause someone died in each one. For some odd reason, the one people don't get hurt in are just not exciting enough for me, no matter how cliche death is in fics anymore. And same here, I think I can never write that well in truth, so I gave up before writing the second word. I have one friend that sats write while all the others say no.

    There does have to be some drama or else it gets boring. Fluffy cute fics are nice but in my opinion, they're only fun when that's what you want to read. I don't kill characters often, but I do make them hurt a lot. And, oh no! You should definitely keep writing if that's what interests you! It's just like art: you have to practice at it to get better. How long have you been writing for?

    I started writing when I was 11 I suppose, and stopped at the same time since I got bullied for having a "diary" around. Ever since I've been too afraid to write, especially when in school, in fear of being critisized and made fun of again. qwq (sometimesifeellikeacompleteidiotneedingattentionattimes...)

    I used to do the same thing when I was 11-16 - taking notebooks with me to write stories in. I got made fun of for it, but they gave up because I wouldn't reply to them or stop doing it, so I was too boring to bother. I would be wary of writing in places with people like that, in case they try and steal the book. I would try writing at home instead. Typing is easier, anyway! [...]

    But writing is a good hobby to get into if you enjoy it. Writing stories helps you with grammar, vocab, etc, which helps with writing essays and such. People do think it's impressive. Don't let other people make you feel bad for your hobbies! You're not an idiot, and you're not attention seeking. Trust me. It's okay to talk about things that upset you.

    Hey, I know this is late, but I am writing a story at school. I am about 160 pages in, but it'll be around 650 pages, maybe more. I mostly get praised by fellow classmates, and the few haters remind me daily and in a cruel way that they are insecure. Don't give up on writing- if you're as good writing as drawing (I only draw my own creatures well), you'd be fanstastic!
