The Fire Emblem series sure does love starting an Avatar character's journey regaining consciousness after a dream or something, doesn't it? (well, if the game has an Avatar feature like this, FE12, Awakening and Fates, that is)

    Of the 14 games in the Fire Emblem series, only four have anything like an Avatar. (7, 12, 13, and 14.) But "your character" in FE7 doesn't actually participate in the battles the way he/she did in the other three games, as I'm sure you'll find.
