Are the newer blocks from the latest update/snapshot in MineCraft U?

You know, the new stuff like red sand, granite, endermite, etc. Does wiiu have it like PC does?

    I wouldn't say soon they gave a vague sometime it 2016 comment.

    Yeah they'll probably wait with porting the update till they can do it together with the bugfixing TU32 somewhere in Jan/Feb. I also suspect them to release the game on disc when TU32 is out.
