    I get the joke, but the message is referring to when you have a move selected to not be used. A blue X is next to it.

    Any Pokémon. (Except Volcaronion, or whatever the Water Fire Pokémon was.) It even highlights that fact on the back of the game's case, I think. There's a lot of returning characters from previous entries as well.
