Please, Nintendo, bring this masterpiece to Europe and America! This game deserves it! Give Mother 3 the light of day!

    Y'all might wanna cave and play a fan version now. Frog played one a few months back and brought back reports about an abundance of in-game content that would be controversial in the West. He didn't elaborate on them, but it's possible that potentially-controversial content runs so deep in the game that scrubbing it would involve major plot/character changes. It might change the game too much to

    make it worth localizing. That's my wager on why Nintendo hasn't even given the major fan outcry a response on the game (aside from Reggie's flower power, which I think answered the question quite nicely).

    I'll wait. Nintendo hasn't bothered to shy away from controversial content lately, (although some like FEF I have major disagreements with) so I would prefer to play the official version first and playing the fan translation would ruin that.

    Suit yourself, although it's worth remembering that most of Fates' "adult" content isn't controversial in Japan and will likely be scrubbed over here. That one bit that we know won't be scrubbed is fanservice, sadly.

    I don't know all that much about this game, but I know that it has a great soundtrack. It's also apparently an amazing game by reveiws and whatnot. And it's a GBA RPG. Every single RPG on the GBA that I've played (which is only four, heh) is a masterpeice so far. I'm going to play this game one day myself regardless of if it's localized or not.

    @Blake The GBA had a ton of great RPGs. FF remakes, FF Tactics, Tactics Ogre Knights of Lodis, Mother 3, both Golden Sun games (not my thing though), two FE games, 2 Advance Wars games, Mega Man Battle Network, Breath of Fire remakes, and Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.

    I recently beat M&LSS, I have to say I recommend that one. The AW games are must haves, some like them better than FE.

    I disagree there, Lance. It's worth what Nintendo makes it. They could easily release Mother 3 in English physically and include EarthBound Beginnings and EarthBound, besides, I seriously doubt Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem or any other future Wii U release besides Zelda U would be received as well. Beyond that, there are many professional translators who have offered to do the dirty work

    @Lance it is the last game in this series that we need to get and hopefully it will be at E3 2016 or maybe it will be announced in a direct or it will be announced on miiverse like minecraft.in the meantime I will be playing M●THER 4(fan game).
