    Yeah but that's just a remake. It's not adding on to the original's story as far as I know so it's just one game, not really a series.

    Each Final Fantasy is like its own li'l series. That's why some Final Fantasy entries, such as FFX, have sequel that are labelled like "Final Fantasy X 2".

    Oh ok. So does each series have any relation at all to each other or is it more like how Xenoblade Chronicles X is just a spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles?
