Having played enough Xenoblade Chronicles X now, I'd probably switch my personal vote -- still, Splatoon is an amazing game, better for more types of players (XCX and my 10 year old? fail.), and ground breaking for its genre. Solid fun.
Splatoon seems like a pretty cool game. Maybe too cool for me! I have to try it! But why wasn't it Mario Maker or Smash Bros. or something? Never played Mario Kart 8 but I'll try it.
Surprised to see that neither of the Xenoblade games that released this year won these. I guess most people just don't have the time to witness such long and massive games.
It's kind of a shame that such large games with so much work and love put into them don't get the fullest acknowledgment that they can.
Awesome to see that the 3DS game I voted for and the Wii U game I voted for both took the No. 1 spot in their respective categories in the 2015 Fan Faves.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!? Actually this somehow makes sense for Splatoon to win. Splatton was THAT popular when it came out anyways. I was really hoping Smash Bros would win since Nintendo hasn't made another Smash Bros for Wii U with new stages, characters and DLC's. But I'd say Smash Bros COULD be in 2nd place.
