As much as I would like to say I agree I can't. I believe that Super Mario Maker and Xenoblade Chronicles X would be a better pick than Splatoon. Super Mario Maker brings back the magic that 3 and World gave us and still makes itself original with user-created content. XenoX builds onto the existing Xenobkade story and makes it so engaging and hard to put down. Splatoon, while original, seems.....

that the game does get a bit repetitive even with the updates and the single-player and local mulitplayer are extremely shallow and unenjoyable. It really seems that Nintendo is desperately trying to market their new IP rather than fix and improve things that we've asked for since Day 1.

to everyone who says they hate the game but has never played it but has only seen the trailer... its actually a good game! its fun and colorfull and befor augest i was like "omg so stupid" but after trying it... I LOVE IT! so just because you have seen the trailer DOESN'T mean you know EVERY thing about it and can judge it. try the game THEN feel free to talk smack about it all you want.

I know that I'm far too late, but honestly my favorite Wii U game of 2015 is Animal Crossing Amiibo festival. It brings out the true fun in party games and not the compitition, fighting, or button mashing. Me and my pals play this game whenever we can, and absolutely love the true animal crossing feel that all fans truly admire.

@KilrWhale the reason why the colors are orange and blue is because you have the color lock on,go to options on splatoon and set the color lock off and then the colors will be set randomly.

Splatoon is a fun multiplayer for sure.
