honestly, splatoon wasn't that great in my opinion because 1. almost EVERYTHING need internet( the only two thing that didn't need internet is the story mode and the 1v1. but when you beat the story mode and you have no one to play with, splatoon is pointless.) Also keep in mind that this MY OPINION AND NO ONE SHOULD BE MAD AT ME!

you guys never even played or heard of splatoon. what makes you decide if splatoon is good or bad? if you think its just inking ground, theres more to it. theres rainmaker mode, tower control and splat zones. theres also a big variety of guns, like roller, splattershot, sniper, and much, MUCH more. theres also clothes and all that stuff. so splatoon doesn't "suck." minecraft couldnt have won.

I honestly think XenoBlade Chronicals should have won. The reason Splatoon won was because it was kid-friendly. Sure it was a good game, but in my opinion XenoBlade should have took the first place spot (but it is a teen+ game, therefore not everyone can play). That is just my opinion though.
