A few things I would have changed about this game
I think that the starter line up should of had a Pichu instead of Pikachu and a Ralts or something with 3 evolutions instead of a Riolu (just wait a second, k?). I would of had the player and protagonist reach their second evolutions during/before/shortly after the 4th boss and their third forms at the final dungeon. (Continued In Comments)

I would of had the 4th boss actually be Giritina, the "Path to Lively Town" be a few dungeons longer and maybe contain a boss fight against Raikou. Along with that, I would of had a boss fight with Suicune at *Dungeon with a name that has obvious plot significe.* Other than those things, this game's pretty good.

Though I completely disagree on Riolu not being a starter (like everybody else who chose it), I was actually thinking earlier today that ralts could be a good starter. The only problem is the player doesn't have an in game gender, only the partner does, so in that case it would be a good partner exclusive.

You lost me at No Riolu, the path to Lively Town was already hellishly difficult, etc. I agree that there should have been more Legendary bosses in Story Mode, but I feel that having the actual Giratina being as easy as he was in the story would be unrealistic, especially since you said you wanted a weaker Legendary as a later boss.

(Continued) However, I feel that Solosis should have been something more sinister, such as a Spiritomb, that either controlled or manipulated the Litwick to do its evil deeds and still have the Giratina masquerade.

(Continued) Furthermore, I feel that this game should have had an extended afterstory that revolves around your characters going around the world and visiting areas from past games and then moving on to fighting the other Legendaries as a sort of challenge from Arceus or something.

The reason why I suggested no Riolu is because it only evolves once. Meaning that it wouldn't be able to evolve again like the other starters. I'm not saying that having Riolu be a (potential) primary and secondary protagonist was a bad idea, though. It just wouldn't fit in with what I would change.

Also, what I meant by having "Giratina" be actually Giratina is to (From a plot and gameplay perspective), be portrayed as being the exact opposite of what you think he'd be (A somewhat extreme prankster) and have Giratina be obviously holding back (Having a lot lower HP than what he'd normally have and using moves of low power like Shadow Sneak.) I would suggest this because... (↓)

... I think that would definetly make the player hate the three legendary beast during the point your clearly supposed to hate them (When they temporarily join in the voidlands) and plus would give a more reasonable, well, reason as to why the Protagonist and Partner would evolve during/after/before the fight.

And plus, it would the most amazing thing in existence to see Giratina, one of the most threatening looking Legendary Pokemon and Pokemon in general, claiming to spendhis time pranking people and be a more of a jokester instead of the Satan-like entity of pure evil we assume him to be.

Also, the reason why I said that the "Path to Lively Town" should be a few dungeons longer is because it would make the game a bit longer without making it seem like pointless filler. And really, I guess that could of applied to other points in the game as well, such as the "'Fun' Outing."

Back on the topic of what I'd change, I would probably add a phase to the actual final boss for each time (When you're not in your 3rd evolution stage) with the boss using a mid-tier attack of his type (Ex. Razor Leaf, Bite, ect.) a common status move of the type, and then 2 two attacks the he has already... (↓)

...(Maybe with his Mows-You-Down attack dealing only ~50% of you HP on average as opposed to ~90%). The order of types would be; 1. Dark with ~50HP (For obvious reasons) 2-15. Any other types that go unmentioned here with ~70HP each (Randomly selected) 16-17. Steel and Dragon with ~100 HP each(Also random) 18. Psychic with ~200HP (Because it's supposed to be your partners fight and spoliers).

You use Awakening Emera's for Primal Evo's. I honestly couldn't see Giratina as Bound Hoopa. Darkrai, maybe, but not Giratina. I could imagine him as the guy who wants to act tough and mighty but secretly has a heart of gold, but not a lighthearted prankster.
