Connect to nintendo network? Help

this message that reads :Connect to Nintendo Nerwork? appeared multiple times I click yes then it says 'connecting'. it loads, Nothing happens and takes me to the world selection screen, Did it work?

    Yeah, it should have worked. the only thing that use the Nintendo Network would be online multiplayer, and downloading texture packs or skin packs.

    Yes, It does work once loaded. Once you go back to the Title screen, It disconnects.
