    To be more specific, it's actually the Northern Lights (a.k.a the aurora borealis). Its southern opposite is the southern lights, or the aurora australis.

    I almost raged because when I got on Animal Crossing I forgot to take a picture when I saw it. Then I went to the store. The store was evil and scared off the Aurora :( I'm still mad that it ended when I was in there..
